Your Kansas City photography studio space for creatives
Welcome to Kreative Co. Studio!
A natural light and flash studio located in the West bottoms of Kansas City. This studio has 4 windows north facing which gives you gorgeous natural light from morning till the evening. This space is all white with with a backdrop setup and one white brick wall. (Cycwall coming soon-ish)
Studio Rentals:
Currently only offering weekend availability with 6 days a week to come.
8am-6pm by appointment only.
Studio rate - $75 an hour
Bulk discounts applicable(Please contact me for more information - kreativecostudio@gmail.com).
A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking.
What’s Included:
One Paper Backdrop is included with your hourly rental, need more than one color? They are available upon request for an additional charge.
Studio chairs, stools, and boxes.
V-flats, light stands, and reflectors.
A 7 ft silver umbrella with a diffuser available upon request.

Additional Addons:
$20 for an additional backdrop color
$35 for an additional half hour
$50 for a 300watt or 150watt LED constant light
$75 for Flashpoint strobes - AD600 & AD400
STUDIO RULES
Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early - there is a public waiting lobby
If you are late, your session will still end on time
Music is to be kept at a reasonable level - we are not a night club.
All paper backdrop handling must be done by the studio manager please notify when ready to switch colors
You must be ready to leave by the end of the rental period time. If you are still in the studio beyond your scheduled time, you will be charged by the 1/2 hour ($35). If your rental ends at 10am, you and your party must be out the door at 10am. It would be best if you planned to finish shooting 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled rental period ends. You may come 10 min early to set up.
NO glitter, cake bombs, confetti, or smoke bombs
NO fire or open flames - They will set off the sprinklers
NO smoking whatsoever is allowed in the building per management
NO pets allowed without prior consent, just ask ahead of time (I love pets, I have two dogs and two cats!)
NO illegal drugs
NO kids are allowed in the studio unless they are part of the shoot, and they must be accompanied at all times in the studio(For the safety of the party and studio equipment)

HOW DO I BOOK A RENTAL?

From there it will take you to the calendar to see the availability and can choose the date and time you’d like to rent the studio.
Please note, you must schedule at least 48 hours in advance. If its a must, please reach out via email.
WHERE IS THE STUDIO LOCATED?
The studio is located in the Oliver building in the West bottoms.

Parking:
There is a gravel lot in the back(south side) of the building, that is where you will need to park.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY?
In the case you need to cancel your session, we do not offer refunds for cancellations. If you need to reschedule your session please let us know at least 48 hours before the original scheduled date/time. Rescheduling is at the availability of what is still open on the calendar.
WHAT IF I AM RUNNING LATE?
Your rental period starts at original time booked, so if yo show up 10 minutes late, you lose 10 minutes of your session. Pleas plan ahead to arrive 5-10 minutes early so you will not lose out on the time booked.
BAD WEATHER?
If the weather is bad, we will still stay open. Obviously if the weather is dangerous or excessive, we can reschedule on a case by case basis. Our first priority is the safety of our guests, we will not force someone to put themselves in danger.

WILL THERE BE STAFF ON SITE?
Yes there will be a staff member on site to ensure safety and make sure nothing goes against the rules of the studio. With that being said, we value your privacy, the studio manager will not intervene or distract you from your session. We have a private area in the back of the studio that is curtained off from the main shooting area.
The studio manager will only be there to change backdrop colors or assist if needed with anything else.
There is a camera on site, this is only used in the case something is damaged, stolen, or anything suspicious happens. Cameras are never watched unless necessary for the business purposes.
